Hell

Part 4 of our series "Four Letter Words."

We have trouble fathoming a world where people who seem to be nice end up in a place called “hell.” But the Bible has a lot to say about hell, which is our four letter word for this week. And to deny the reality of hell is to deny God’s Word itself. While the idea might make us uncomfortable, it is still a reality we must deal with.

Holy

Part 3 of the series "Four Letter Words."

While most of us don’t realize it at the time, until we become a believer, we are wallowing around in the sewage of sinfulness. Many of us don’t think of the things we are doing as wrong, or at least, not really that bad. But God clearly tells us that even the slightest sin will keep us out of heaven.

Obey

Part 2 in our series entitled "Four Letter Words."

In this age where we sometimes emphasize God’s grace to the point that we forget that God also has expectations of us, the word “obey” has become a four letter word. Let’s do what we can to change that today by looking at three steps to obedience.

Lost

This is part 1 of our series "Four Letter Words."

We try to avoid the use of four-letter words in church, and that’s a good thing – except there are some four-letter words that we need to say more often. There are certain words that a lot of churches don’t use anymore – I’m not talking about curse words, but words that bring conviction, or offense, that many Christians try to avoid these days.

A God Who Assures Me

We spend a lot of time searching for something we already have. In Christ, God has blessed us in so many ways. He has given us assurances throughout His Word that will help to build our confidence in our relationship with Him, as well as give us stability in this present life.

A God Who Develops Me

We all realize that there are circumstances where a father is not, and perhaps cannot, be present in a child’s life. But most of us would agree that if there can be a good father involved, that child will be blessed from that relationship.

Even if you did not have an earthly father, or at least one that was a good example for your life, we can all rely on our Heavenly Father to grow us into the person we should be and can be.
